2. The Competition

2.1. These terms and conditions are applicable to all contests listed on the Promoter’s website located at https://lifemadecompetitions.co.uk (the “Website”).

2.2. All contests require skill-based entries, and an entry fee is applicable for each online entry. However, the Promoter may provide a free entry route for contests that offer an easy or multiple-choice question.

2.3. In order to participate and be eligible to win, every participant (an “Entrant”) must answer a question or solve a problem (the “Competition Question”) set by the Promoter accurately

3. How To Enter

3.1. The competition will be open for a specific duration as mentioned on the Website, which includes the “Opening Date” and “Closing Date” in London, England time zone.

3.2. In exceptional circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to modify the Opening and Closing Dates of the competition. If any changes are made, the new dates will be displayed on the Website. The Promoter will not extend the Closing Date to sell more entries.

3.3. The Promoter must receive all competition entries by the specified time on the Closing Date. Any entries received after that time may be disqualified without a refund.

3.4. The maximum number of entries to the competition will be mentioned on the Website. If the maximum number of entries is reached, the number of entries you can make will be limited.

3.5. Entrants can participate in each competition as many times as they want until the maximum number of entries per user has been submitted or until the maximum number of entries for the competition has been reached. Free entries must be submitted separately. Bulk entries will not be accepted and will only be counted as one entry. If the maximum number of entries for the competition is reached, the entries may be limited.

3.6. To participate in the competition online:

(a) visit the Website and read the Competition Question;

(b) choose your answer to the competition question and the number of entries required;

(c) complete the checkout process and submit the online registration form;

(d) make the payment and receive your order confirmation.

(e) you may repeat this process as many times as you wish up to the maximum number of tickets allowed per Entrant, or until the total quantity of tickets have been allocated.

3.7. All entries must be in English. Entries in any other language will be disqualified without a refund.

3.8. If you are not using the free entry method, the Promoter will send confirmation that your entry has been received, and your allocated ticket number(s).

3.9. The Promoter will not be responsible for any competition entries that are not completed successfully, are lost or delayed due to any cause, including technical malfunction or failure of any equipment, system, network, server, computer hardware or software.

3.10. By purchasing entries and submitting a competition entry, you are entering into a contract with the Promoter and agreeing to abide by the terms and conditions.

3.11. To enter the competition for free by post, you must:

(a) send your entry on an unenclosed postcard by first or second class post to the Promoter’s address mentioned on the Website;

(b) hand-delivered entries will not be accepted;

(c) include your full name, address, contact telephone number, email address, the Competition you are entering, and your answer to the Competition Question;

(d) incomplete or illegible entries will be disqualified;

(e) make multiple free entries for any competition (up to any limit set by the Promoter) but each entry must be sent separately. Bulk entries in one envelope will not be accepted as multiple entries, and if a bulk entry is received, it will be counted as one single entry;

(f) confirm that you are eligible to enter and accept the terms and conditions;

(g) ensure that your entry is received by the Promoter before the Closing Date. Entries received after the Closing Date will not be entered into the random draw. Proof of posting does not guarantee entry into the random draw;

(h) note that the Promoter will not acknowledge receipt of your entry or confirm whether your answer to the Competition Question is correct;

(i) note that if the number of entries reaches any cap or limit before your free entry is received, you will not be

4. Selecting a Winner

4.1. After the Closing Date, a winner will be selected at random, using our internal software, from all Entrants who answered the Competition Question correctly. The Promoter will make every effort to conduct the selection as soon as possible, but no later than 7 days after the Closing Date.

4.2. The Promoter will create a spreadsheet using internal software containing the names and entry numbers of all Entrants, which may be published on the Website. If you don’t want your name included in this spreadsheet, you must inform the Promoter by emailing support@lifemadecompetitions.co.uk as soon as possible after entering, but at least 48 hours before the Closing Date.

The Winner/s will be contacted via telephone or email to be notified of the result.

5. Eligibility 

5.1. To participate in this competition, you must be a legal resident of the United Kingdom and at least 18 years old. The competition is not open to the following:

(a) Employees of the Promoter;

(b) Employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter who are professionally associated with the competition or its administration; or

(c) Members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.

5.2. By entering the competition, you confirm that you meet all the eligibility requirements and can claim any prize that you may win. The Promoter may ask you to provide proof of eligibility to enter and claim the prize. If you fail to provide such evidence or other information that the Promoter may require within a reasonable time, you may be disqualified from the competition.

5.3. Entries that are automatically generated by a computer or incomplete will not be accepted by the Promoter.

5.4. The Promoter has the right to disqualify you from the competition if your conduct goes against the spirit or intent of the competition. This includes being rude or abusive to the Promoter or anyone associated with them.

5.5. Except as stated in clause 11.3, no refunds of the entry fee will be given for any reason, including:

(a) If you find out after entering the competition that you are not eligible to enter or claim the prize;

(b) If the eligibility criteria for entering the competition or claiming the prize changes after you enter; or

(c) If you are disqualified from the competition by the Promoter for any reason.

5.6. If an Entrant engages in any fraudulent activity, hacking, or unauthorized use of any website code, all their entries will be void, and they may be prevented from participating in any future competitions. No refunds will be given in such cases.

6. The Prize

The Prize 6.1. The prize for each competition is described on the Website (the “Prize”). Details of the Prize are, to the best of the Promoter’s knowledge, information and belief, correct as at the Opening Date.

6.2. Prizes are subject to availability. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with a prize of equal or greater value. If any details of the Prize change, the Promoter will endeavour to update the Website as soon as reasonably possible.

6.3. The Promoter makes no representations and gives no warranties about the Prize, its value, its condition or any other information provided on the Website. The Promoter makes no representations and gives no warranties that the information provided on the Website is accurate, complete or up to date. If the Prize is a vehicle:

(a) the Promoter will, unless otherwise stated, ensure it comes with a valid MOT (if required);

(b) no insurance is included with the Prize and it is the Winner’s responsibility to ensure the vehicle is adequately insured prior to taking it on the public roads (if it is legal to do so);

(c) the Promoter has no responsibility for the Prize(s) once it has been delivered. The Winner is solely responsible for complying with all relevant laws and regulations relating to the Vehicle, its operation and ensuring they operate it in a safe and responsible manner;

(d) no vehicle/road tax is included;

(e) the Winner is solely responsible for ensuring they have all necessary safety equipment and clothing (for example, helmets, boots and gloves) and for wearing them whilst operating the vehicle.

6.4. The Prize may be supplied by a third-party supplier (the “Supplier”). Details of the Supplier (if any) will be provided on the Website.

6.5. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize for an alternative cash prize (“Cash Prize”) in the following circumstances:

(a) the Prize becomes unavailable;

(b) other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter make it necessary to do so;

6.6. The prize is not negotiable or transferable.

7. The Winners

7.1. The decision of the Promoter is final and cannot be disputed.

7.2. The name of the winner will be announced during the live draw. If the winner wishes to remain anonymous during the live draw, they must notify support@lifemadecompetitions.co.uk within a reasonable time before the prize draw takes place.

7.3. The Promoter will contact the winner directly after the Draw Date using the phone number or email address provided in their competition entry. If the winner cannot be contacted, is not available, or fails to claim the Prize within 21 days of the Draw Date, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the Prize to another Entrant (“The Alternate Winner”) selected randomly in the same way as before from the remaining correct entries received before the Closing Date. The Alternate Winner will have 21 days from notification of their status by the Promoters to accept the Prize. This process will continue until a winner accepts the Prize.

7.4. The Promoter is obligated to publish or make available information that confirms a valid award was made. To fulfill this obligation, the Promoter will publish the full name and county/town of residence of major prize winners on the Website.

7.5. If the winner objects to their surname, county/town of residence, and winning entry being published or made available, they must notify the Promoter at support@lifemadecompetitions.co.uk before the Closing Date. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority upon request.

8. Prize Claim

8.1. The Prize must be claimed by the winner personally and cannot be claimed by a third party on their behalf. Delivery or collection details for the Prize are available on the Website or can be obtained upon request.

8.2. If the winner’s personal information or contact details change, they should inform the Promoter promptly. Notifications should be sent to support@lifemadecompetitions.co.uk and include details of the competition, old and new details. If the details change within 10 days of the Closing Date, the Promoter will use the old details to attempt to contact the winner.

8.3. Any Cash Prize will be transferred to the winner’s nominated bank account. The winner must provide evidence that they are the sole or joint beneficiary of the account within 14 days. Failure to do so will result in disqualification and the winner forfeiting the prize. In such cases, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible Entrant who submitted correct entries before the Closing Date.

8.4. The Promoter is not responsible and does not provide any compensation if the winner is unable or unwilling to accept the Prize.

8.5. If the Prize is a vehicle and the winner meets all eligibility criteria, the Promoter will transfer ownership using the V5 form. The transfer must be completed before handing over the vehicle.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Promoter, its agents, or distributors will not be held responsible or liable for any loss, damage, personal injury, or death resulting from accepting the prize, except where it is caused by their negligence or that of their employees. This limitation of liability is in accordance with the law, and it does not affect your statutory rights.

10. Data protection and publicity

10.1. By participating in the competition, you agree that any personal information provided by you in connection with your entry may be held and used only by the Promoter or its agents and suppliers to administer the competition or as otherwise set out in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, a copy of which is available on the Website.

10.2. In the event that you are declared the winner of the competition, you agree that the Promoter may use your name, image and town or county of residence to announce the winner of the competition. You further agree to take part in any reasonable publicity required by the Promoter.

10.3. If you do not wish to participate in any publicity, you must notify the Promoter prior to the Closing Date. This will not affect your eligibility to win the prize. If you do not agree to participate in any publicity about the competition, the Promoter may still provide your details to the Advertising Standards Authority, which is a legal requirement to prove that the competition has been properly administered and the Prize awarded.

10.4. If you are declared the winner of the competition, you may be required to provide additional personal information and proof of identity to confirm your eligibility to claim the Prize and transfer ownership of the Prize to you. By entering the competition, you consent to the use of your personal information for this purpose. You may request further details about how your personal information is being used, and you may withdraw your consent for your personal information to be used in this way. However, if you withdraw your consent, you may be unable to receive the Prize, and you will be deemed to have withdrawn from the competition and forfeit the Prize. The Promoter reserves the right to offer the Prize to the next eligible Entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.

10.5. Under data protection laws, you have the right to request that the Promoter does not contact you and removes your details from its database. If you make such a request, you will be withdrawing from the competition, and you will not be entitled to any refund of any entry fee. If you do not wish any of your personal details to be used by the Promoter for promotional purposes, please email the Promoter at support@lifemadecompetitions.co.uk prior to the Closing Date.

11. General

11.1. These terms and conditions may be changed by the Promoter periodically. The latest version will always be available on the Website.

11.2. If there is any suspicion of a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter reserves the right to exclude you from the competition and future competitions at its sole discretion.

11.3. If circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control require it, the prize competition may be cancelled, suspended, voided, or amended. If this occurs, any entry fees paid will be refunded.

11.4. The Promoter will not cancel, suspend, void, or amend the prize competition due to a lack of entries. Regardless of the number of entries received, the draw will take place, and the Prize will be awarded.

11.5. The competitions on the Website are not affiliated with Facebook in any way, and Facebook will not be liable for the administration or promotion of the competitions.

11.6. These terms and conditions are governed by English law, and the parties agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11.7. It is recommended that you print and keep a copy of these terms and conditions for your records.
